UK – A series of new advertisements is promoting the Selfridges No Noise campaign with logo-free and pared-down imagery.
In today’s busy world, brands and retailers are creating calm areas in which consumers can escape from the hustle and bustle. The Selfridges No Noise space offers consumers an environment without brands and logos, as we reported in our No Noise at Selfridges Innovate.
In the advertisements, created by photographer Michael Bodiam and stylist Sarah Parker for AnOther magazine, the iconic brand names behind the products such as Levi’s and the bright yellow Selfridges bags, were removed, reflecting the tranquillity of the Selfridges space.
The campaign is designed to promote the idea of taking a break from product branding to appreciate products for their aesthetic.
