Wellington – New Zealander Natasha Mead has created a tablet-based concept called Milk that provides tutorials on how to make your own high fashion pieces.
Presented as a digital magazine, Milk offers step-by-step guidance on how to create items such as a leather tote and a crystal necklace.
Mead won a Mag+ creativity contest with Milk and now a tablet publishing company is launching the concept.
This is a good example of consumers’ interest in craft-based projects and a new DIY mentality that has emerged among New Millennials. Find out more in our Design It Yourself design direction.
