Infinity House preview by Infinite 360, London

London – Infinity House is using virtual reality (VR) to introduce the concept of wellness to a larger demographic.

  • Founded by Rosemary Reed and Corrina McCann, co-founders of Infinite 360, a content production studio focused on making 360-degree videos
  • The app to access the service is free to download and will unlock both free and paid for content

Infinity House uses the immersive capabilities of virtual reality to give users who may not typically be able to afford them access to alternative health and wellness services. The platform will include short-form content from individuals such as yoga instructor Tara Stiles and Ellen DeGeneres, an advocate of veganism.

Users can navigate between pre-filmed content that covers topics such as nutrition tutorials, guided meditation and breathing techniques during exercise. They can also find advice on how to recover from a panic attack and motivational tips to spur the individual on before a presentation.

As well as this pre-recorded content there will also be the option to watch live talks as they are streamed around the world, allowing users to fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the event.

The Big Picture

As we tracked in The Optimised Self, health and wellness are growing consumer trends, but many people are restricted in their quest for self-improvement by their financial situation. As virtual reality becomes more mainstream, brands will be able to offer true-to-life immersive wellness experiences from the comfort of home.
