Berlin – A new audio-visual online experience uses pop-up windows and music to help viewers relax.
Pure Spirit Club is a web-based visual-audio art installation, conceived by the music producer Mojo Goro while making his most recent EP, White Dove. The Bulgarian-born artist came up with the idea in order to share the blissful state he achieves through meditation.
The experience, which requires users to disable their ad-blockers, inverts the usually fastidious nature of pop-ups by assimilating them into the interactive meditation guide.
‘Any musician can agree that creating music can be a spiritual experience and I had a particularly profound one while working on this song,’ Goro tells LS:N Global. ‘Offering a guided meditation I feel was the easiest, and probably only, way to communicate my message.’
This pared-back 1990s aesthetic appeals to Gen Viz, for whom visuals are paramount to their online experience. To read more see, our Netstalgia macrotrend.
