The future is now

27 : 06 : 2016 The Future Laboratory : Futures Festival : Brand Innovation

London – The Future Laboratory is to hold a festival exploring how businesses can more effectively harness disruption and manage shifting consumer sentiment.

  • The full-day event will feature keynote speeches from thought-leaders in the business and lifestyle sectors
  • Workshops will offer strategic advice on how to integrate consumer insight into your own business

What is innovation? How can you harness disruption effectively? Which brands, businesses and services are most likely to survive in a Europe buffed by change and a Britain that has decided to go it alone?

Gathering together face to face for a good old-fashioned discussion and debate has never been more important than it is today in the digital age – especially in the current climate of uncertainty – and it is against this backdrop that The Future Laboratory has announced the Global Futures Forum (GFF). The Future Laboratory is the parent company of LS:N Global, and has built a reputation over the past 15 years for seasonal Trend Briefings and sector-specific Futures Forums.

Designed to be a one-stop shop for industry professionals who want to arm themselves with the knowledge and practical insights to future-proof their businesses, the GFF will be a platform for some of the most innovative brands and individuals across Europe. While Britain may be about to go it alone, our businesses can’t afford to, and the event will reflect this united purpose.

The early line-up of speakers includes Wired UK editor David Rowan, leading scientist Baroness Susan Greenfield and Condé Nast’s Style.com editorial director Melissa Dick. There will also be a Disruptors Labyrinth that will be a showcase for products and services set to change the face of their industries, from food replacement brand Huel to emotionally weaponised activewear brand Vollebak.

The Future Laboratory’s Strategy team will also be on hand to guide attendees through a series of innovation labs and workshops designed to challenge the way we prepare our businesses for the future.

The Big Picture

The Global Futures Forum will take place on 12 October 2016 at Shoreditch Town Hall, London. The line-up for the GFF is being continually updated, so for more information on the event or to buy tickets, visit our website.
