Nantes – A bit of Scandinavian spirit has been injected into the latest outpost of French hotel chain Okko Hotels. The rooms in Okko Nantes Château have a neutral, mostly white palette, resulting in minimalist and cosy spaces.
‘The idea was to design a simple and timeless product; a place that stands apart from fashion and trends and where the notions of service and comfort are paramount,’ says Patrick Norguet, the Parisian designer responsible for the interiors.
He used white in different materials – from the curtains to the shelving – to create varying textures and depths, contrasting with soft neutrals such as a pale pink and concrete grey.
The interiors follow the colour palette and lines of our Minimal Harmony design direction, showing how the trend for soft, harmonious design has extended beyond products and fashion to interior spaces.
