Cut to the chase: Fashion models in scavenger hunt

New York – Fashion label Band of Outsiders designer Scott Sternberg took an unusual approach to 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week this month, creating his own catwalk around New York.

Sternberg’s models Matt Hitt and Miles Garber went head to head in a scavenger hunt challenge that involved deciphering clues and visiting various locations in the city, while wearing garments from the 2013 autumn/winter menswear collection. The aim was to model all 20 looks in the range before the other.

The models were photographed in the collection’s first look and then given a clue to the next location. As they completed each challenge, the models were photographed in a new outfit. 

Viewers participated in the event by tracking the collection through the designers’ website, and on Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram, and were encouraged to take photographs and report sightings of the pair.
