Prints of Denmark: Latest edition for Aesir

London – British design agency Tom Hingston Studio has created a set of lithographic prints for Danish mobile phone brand Aesir.

Commissioned by creative agency Keep, the prints were produced at the Edition Copenhagen lithographic workshop with the help of master printmaker Rasmus Urwald. Creative director Tom Hingston spent two weeks at the workshop, painstakingly producing 100 editions of the posters using the traditional printing technique.

The prints form the first part of a project commissioned by Aesir called Taenker, designed to explore ‘values and creativity in today’s world’. The Danish company gathered a diverse group of writers, commentators and critics in September 2010 to discuss ideas relating to culture and design. The resulting conversations are represented as text on the prints. Themes include expertise, cooperation and Romanticism.

The prints are to be sent to potential customers of the AE+Y phone, designed in collaboration with Yves Béhar.
