London – Fashion chain French Connection has launched its online store on YouTube. Created by digital agency Poke, YouTique features styled videos hosted by tv host and stylist Louise Roe offering outfit solutions for every occasion.

By using the YouTube annotations feature, already trialled in the US by brands such as Old Spice and Toyota, viewers can click on a garment and be taken directly to its page on the French Connection website, where they can make a purchase.

For more details on how fashion is turning online in a bid to bring consumers closer to the offline experience, see our Video Retail 2.0 report.
