In line with MK2’s cinematic roots, the space models itself on an Odeon multiplex by providing guests with a variety of VR content delivered via the latest technology from HTC VIVE, PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and MSi.

Participants are able to use one of 12 individual VR pods to access a range of material from VR games to fully immersive interactive content. The brand is positioning the venue as a social space where guests can drink at Le Perchoir mk2, a terrace bar run by the Parisian chain Le Perchoir.

‘For anyone looking for a new experience who wants to enjoy VR technologies or just have a drink in a cheerful environment mk2 VR is poised to be the go-to place at the forefront of this latest revolution in entertainment,’ says Elisha Karmitz, general director at mk2.

The Big Picture

Virtual reality has always opened up new worlds to its users, but the medium is now becoming more fully integrated into everyday life as it evolves into a social activity.
