Olfactory renaissance

17 : 07 : 2015 Scent : Régime Des Fleurs : Fragrance

Los Angeles – Régime des Fleurs is a bold new fragrance brand translating classical mythology and post-modernism into scent.

  • The brand takes inspiration from contemporary art, including 1980s Memphis and baroque interiors
  • The artisanal perfume market share increased by 35% for the year ending December 2014, according to NPD Group

This new range of scents is organised into three tiers of complexity – Lyrics, Ballads and the Epic – each priced to reflect the value of the ingredients inside. The bottles balance vintage form and renaissance detailing with a fluorescent colour palette.

‘These perfumes are not about the mass market or a cheap thrill. They don’t look like other perfumes and they certainly don’t smell like them – they’re art objects,’ co-founder Alia Raza tells Style.com.

The newest scent in the range, Mirror, is a blend of smoky gaiac wood, green galbanum, saffron and violet – a harmonic fusion of masculine and feminine notes.
