Antwerp, Belgium – The Fashion Museum of Antwerp (MoMu) is giving visitors access to its archived content via a smart interactive screen.
‘These days museums have large parts of their collection locked away in huge archives,’ says Lab101, which collaborated on the project. ‘MoMu transforms this problem into one of its strengths by digitally unlocking the treasures to the public.’ The interactive wall supports up to 80 simultaneous touches via capacitive foils that sit on top of eight HD screens, allowing people to explore MoMu’s collection of contemporary fashion design even when the museum is closed.
