Brazil – Brazilian cookware brand Tramontina has published a cookbook. There is nothing unusual about that, except in this cookbook you can cook with every page.
Biblia Definitiva Do Churrasco (The Bible of Barbecue) is a hardback tome that would take pride of place on any shelf. Yet there is more inside its covers than tips and recipes. Each page of The Bible of Barbecue can be used in the barbecuing process.
The meat and veg can be chopped on the wooden cover. The barbeque can be lit with the page made entirely out of coal. Every stage of the process is catered for, down to the placemat and try for serving. There is even a page that turns into an apron, while another page is made entirely of salt.
Of the 50 books made, 20 have been given to Tramontina clients as gifts, while the other 30 have been delivered to Brazil’s best BBQ chefs. A print run of 2,000 will produce simplified versions with fewer pages to be sold in bookshops.
Crafted by agency JWT Brazil, The Bible of Barbecue is the perfect summer present for any Re-con Man.
