London – The month of May will be a celebration of all things Prada at luxury department store Harrods.
Along with a self-contained Prada pop-up store, the Harrods windows have been given over to the brand with more than 40 displays planned throughout the month. Harrods will also host the Marchesi café, a pop-up patisserie and restaurant replicating the 19th-century Milanese patisserie that Prada recently purchased.
Tying together the retail experience is Pradasphere, an exhibition on the fourth floor of different archival objects that represents the obsessions and inspirations of Prada. The exhibition is designed to present the inner workings of Miuccia Prada, to show how art, architecture, film and culture are all represented throughout the Prada brand.
Pradasphere is a fitting way for a brand to stand out in the blurring worlds of The Convergence Economy.
