Paper office: Ad agency builds cardboard workstation

06 : 08 : 2013 3D : Pop Up Space : Office Interior

London – Graphic designer Emily Forgot and 3D artist Laurie D have created a workspace out of paper and cardboard in the London offices of advertising agency Wieden + Kennedy.

‘I enjoy playing with scale and pattern in my work as well making the mundane slightly surreal, so it was nice to incorporate all my aesthetic leanings into the brief,’ says Forgot.

For the whole of August the pop-up office will be displayed in the agency’s windows, where Wieden + Kennedy employees will sit, giving passers-by an inside view of the workings of one of the world’s largest creative agencies.

The absurdist aesthetic is evocative of our Cartoon Ornamentation design direction, which shows more and more designers incorporating a pop-art, fantastical vision into their work.
