Dry ices: Mexican store delights in cool science

01 : 07 : 2013 Store : The Fabulous Frozen Factory : San Pedro Garza Garcia

Monterrey, Mexico – A Mexican ice cream parlour has created a delightful laboratory-inspired spectacle to draw in customers.

The Fabulous Frozen Factory, in the eastern city of San Pedro Garza García, offers ice cream that is customised with different bases and flavourings, and then frozen in a cloud of liquid nitrogen smoke.

The store, designed by Jakob Gomez, occupies part of a renovated warehouse and combines a clean industrial aesthetic with playful pastel hues.
