London – Playful designer Ashish Gupta showed a Generation D-inspired collection for spring/summer 2013 during London Fashion Week.

Reminiscent of times spent running for the school bus, the collection features misfastened shirts with dishevelled collars, geek-chic NHS glasses and hair scrunchies.

Oversized denim jackets and jeans in contrasting fabrics continued the youthful look, and mismatched socks and Reebok classics gave the collection a 90s feel. The designer’s trademark sequins were applied to simple spaghetti strap dresses, jogging bottoms and slogan tops, adding a touch of glamour to the school uniform references.
