Berlin – Music start-up Wah Wah has launched an iPhone app called wahwah.fm that enables people to create their own radio station broadcasts and share them with a network of subscribers.
The app lets people create playlists and broadcast them to others. Anyone who downloads the app can create a micro-channel.
This is a great example of narrowcast media. As explored in our Future Media Landscapes macrotrend, media is becoming increasingly personalised as creative control is put in the hands of consumers.
