Tokyo – Japanese architects Sinato have designed the interior for a new organic restaurant.
The +green restaurant is in an open space on the ground floor of a three-storey apartment building. The architects made full use of the height of the space by creating separate elevated areas and partitions.
On the ground level, warm brickwork divides the space into intimate dining rooms, while a wooden staircase leads guests up to an elevated area. A sweeping curved partition frames the upper section of the restaurant, connecting each of the areas and framing the space.
This is a good example of how architects and designers seek clever, Flexthetic solutions when space is restricted.
