Munich – Car manufacturer BMW has released four films about the future of mobility called Wherever You Want To Go.
The series is the first launch from BMW Documentaries, a new franchise dedicated to ‘crafting original, thought-provoking and entertaining content’, according to the company.
Showed online on BMW’s initiative called Activate the Future, the documentaries feature interviews with scientists, academics and entrepreneurs, including Chris Anderson, the editor-in-chief of Wired magazine, and Naveen Selvaduri, co-founder of Foursquare. Viewers are encouraged to click and comment on various points throughout the films.
The documentaries are an example of the power of narrative and emotion in advertising. Read our Seed about Nike, for another example.
