Paris – US designer label Thom Browne set a table and the stage for his brand’s autumn/winter 2011 presentation at the weekend.

Instead of the typical runway show, the new Thom Browne collection was presented at a long banquet table in the ballroom at the Westin Hotel in Paris. Models wearing cable knits and top hats sat along one side of the table opposite a spread of roast meats and stuffed animals. Then each model stood up and completed a lap around the table.

With dinner at the centre of the presentation, Thom Browne was inspired by the shared sense of occasion explored in Conviviality Culture.
