Chicago – The constant feeling of being bombarded with choices has led architect Jimenez Lai to design Briefcase House, a house within a house. The main purpose of the enclosed space – located inside a warehouse loft – is to remove any unnecessary elements of day-to-day life and create a haven for the essential.
The space needed for various activities in Briefcase House has been carefully measured, dictating what can be done inside.
To accompany the design, an illustrated storyboard entitled The Obsession Accelerator illustrates the concept and objective of the Briefcase House.
