Global – Tin foil manufacturer Reynolds Kitchens is inviting social media users to dinner in its latest Instagram campaign.

  • Reynolds has created Instagram’s first dining table, complete with a selection of appetising dishes
  • This year Reynolds plans to create eight dinner tables, each made up of 21 dishes, for users to choose from

Along with agency Havas Worldwide Chicago, Reynolds turned its account into a giant dinner table, stitching together glossy, overhead pictures that take advantage of the app’s grid layout.

Users can scroll through the seemingly never-ending variety of seafood dishes, grilled delights and desserts, with next month’s table including pictures snapped from a dinner party that the brand hosted for influencers including popular bloggers and Instagrammers such as April Bloomfield and Beth Kirby.

Selecting one of the dishes will take the user to another dedicated Instagram account, which links to the recipe along with cooking tips courtesy of Reynolds.

The Big Picture: Reynolds is not the first brand to experiment with Instagram’s platform in imaginative ways. Read our articles on Land Rover’s choose-you-own adventure campaign, or the Ballantine’s Instazine for more.
