London – Interactive design studio Sennep is keeping its ideas fresh and its skills sharp with Seeds, a platform dedicated to digital experimentation.
‘We believe that play and discovery are crucial parts of the design process,’ Barrie Bloor, Sennep’s associate director, tells LS:N Global. ‘Being able to grow ideas that stem from creative coding or pure aesthetics helps us to explore concepts from a different starting point than a typical design brief.’
Touch Type is an interactive, tactile typography that reacts to a mouse cursor’s movements, while Rainbow Ring is a visually arresting play with abstract form and colour.
Individual Seeds can exist as curiosities in their own right, but also have the potential to evolve into more developed projects and ultimately feed into client work.
