Having been invited to take over The Future Perfect’s NoHo showroom, this is the first time Piet Hein Eek has brought his Wonder Room, a collaborative space encompassing his perspective on art, design and craft, beyond the walls of his Eindhoven studio. The room unveils one-of-a kind pieces made for The Future Perfect, an e-commerce platform connecting designers with customers, including studio classics from Hein Eek’s Scrapwood collections, commissioned pieces from artists such as Floris Wubben and curated lighting from the likes of Karl Zahn and Michael Anastassiades.

The collaboration appeals to The Future Perfect’s interest in exploring emerging concepts and possibilities in contemporary design, and offers a space for visitors to experience the ethos of the brand in a physical location.

The Big Picture: Once divided, the worlds of e-commerce and offline retail are now united. Read our article on Made.com’s latest bricks-and-mortar venture for more.
