An unlikely pairing: Beer and clothing company collaborate

Pennsylvania – Dogfish Head and Woolrich are two very different brands that are known for the same thing: quality. Dogfish makes craft beer, while Woolrich is the heritage outdoor clothing brand that began making hunters’ gear in the early 19th century. The brands have created a capsule collection featuring an IPA beer and a clothing line that reflect both companies’ ideals.

Doghead Fish and Woolrich

Pennsylvania – Dogfish Head and Woolrich are two very different brands that are known for the same thing: quality. Dogfish makes craft beer, while Woolrich is the heritage outdoor clothing brand that began making hunters’ gear in the early 19th century. In the Wet and Dry collection, the brands collaborated on a limited-edition IPA beer and clothing collection that reflects both companies’ ideals.

The Dogfish Head Pennsylvania Tuxedo pale ale was made by using a home-brew recipe found in the diaries of John Rich, the founder of Woolrich. The name of the beer references the nickname for the black and red check hunters’ uniform that Woolrich made its name with. For the clothing collection, the Woolrich and Dogfish logos share equal place on all items. The range features a men’s and a women’s shirt, a woollen beer koozie and a Woolrich blanket – perfect for sitting on while sharing a cold brew.

Both companies remained true to their own brand identity throughout the collaboration in a truly symbiotic relationship. For more on collaborations between unlikely sectors, see our macrotrend The Convergence Economy
