London – Creative agency Turner Duckworth turned to illustrator Mira Nameth to help with the packaging of a botanical fragrance by its long-standing client Liz Earle, the natural beauty brand.
The Liz Earle Botanical Essence No. 15 is illustrated with the 15 botanicals used in the fragrance. The silver foiled illustrations are natural and add a hint of the scientific when combined with Liz Earle’s logo. Inside the cream packaging are extensive notes on the ingredients that make up the spicy and warm fragrance.
‘While taking some inspiration from 18th and 19th century botanical art, or even older masters of etching – with their attention to detail – my aim was still to create something that felt distinctive and modern,’ Nameth tells LS:N Global. ‘In close collaboration with Turner Duckworth designer Gavin Hurrell, we worked with the idea of a modern cabinet of curiosities, conveying the plants in a different way than the expected.’
