Dufftown, Scotland – The Balvenie distillery has found an innovative way to showcase the story of its traditionally produced whisky.
The Balvenie ambassador leather case presents the distillery’s story from barley to bottle. Handmade by London-based here design, it contains individually tooled boxes that hold ears of barley, a miniature copper still, cask samples, miniature barrels and tasting bottles.
Focusing on communicating the process of creation, rather than the item itself, is becoming increasingly relevant for brands as they strive to capture the narrative of production. The process story is analysed in more detail in our new Luxury Insight report.
