Milan – Scottish designer Nick Ross presented The Confession table at the Spazio Rossana Orlandi exhibition at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile show. The piece of office furniture was designed to offer a quiet moment in a busy work environment.
This unusual bar-height table was created for Swedish office furniture company Blå Station. ‘I was interested by the loss of intimate spaces in public and wanted to re-introduce a private space for a quiet conversation into these busy communal environments,’ Ross tells LS:N Global.
Designed to accommodate two people, one standing at either end, the structure features a black steel and oak frame with a grey pressed polyester board shell, used for its sound-absorbing properties.
