Eindhoven – Spanish designer Nacho Carbonell exhibited a range of furniture called Nest Project during Dutch Design Week.
The anthropomorphic furniture explores people’s desire to nest in a similar way to birds and animals, by surrounding themselves with objects of their choosing.
‘I like to see objects as living organisms, imagining them coming alive and being able to surprise you with their behaviour,’ says Carbonell. ‘I want to create objects with my hands, then I can give them my personality.’
