Paris – Designer Elise Gabriel is presenting a series of furniture made from the modular material, Zelfo, at the Galerie Gosserez.
The l’Etreinte collection consists of tables, chairs and lights made from the material, which is composed of cellulose and is therefore 100% biodegradable. Highly flexible, the material models itself on curvilinear shapes, allowing it to fit tightly round objects. While the Liga chairs and table illustrate the material’s capacity to form complex and resistant 3D structures, the Perchées lamps show the material’s delicate and light qualities. Both offer a beautiful, raw finish.
