31 : 03 : 2016 H2ROse : Rose Water : Flavoured Water

Los Angeles – Bottled water brand H2Rose has launched a range of beverages that feature rosewater, which has been used over the centuries for its healthful properties.

  • H2Rose is lending a modern twist to a recipe that was popular thousands of years ago
  • Rosewater was enjoyed by ancient Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Indian and Persian cultures

Due to the presence of antioxidants, tannins and essential vitamins in rosewater, H2Rose’s series of beverages are being marketed as mood enhancers.

Rosewater is traditionally used as a flavouring and is itself not drinkable due to its strong bitter taste. To offset this, the ingredient is diluted and flavours are added, such as apple, mango, berry and peach, creating a highly palatable drink and following the trend for flavoured water.

‘Our company’s vision is to make drinking water more exciting and interesting,’ says co-founder Kia Illulian. ‘After all our bodies are mostly water.’
