New York – Hackney-based studio Campaign has designed 3.1 Phillip Lim’s serene New York flagship store.

The store, located in Manhattan’s NoHo district, opened during last month’s New York Fashion Week and has attracted attention due to its minimalist design, which blends luxury materials with more modest mainstays of construction.

‘The new store is an extension of Phillip Lim’s own design studio – the space is contemporary and classic, and features unexpected materials, layered geometric forms and vintage furniture chosen by Phillip Lim,’ Steve Wynne, associate at Campaign, tells LS:N Global. ‘It also provides an insight into Phillip Lim’s own home, which makes regular appearances on Instagram @therealphilliplim.’

The collections are sparsely displayed using marble and onyx-finished plinths that speak to the store’s neo-classic undertones, or on polished brass rails that reflect the casual elegance of Lim’s designs.
