Oasis of calm: FUWL creates tranquil social space

11 : 04 : 2013 Form Us With Love : FUWL : Disegno Magazine

Milan – Swedish interior architect practice Form Us With Love (FUWL) has curated Milan Oasis, a relaxed hub at Milan Design Week that functions as a work space by day and a setting to hold dinners by night.

The canopied transitional space, designed in partnership with Disegno magazine, forms the entrance to the JUICE exhibition, which holds a vibrant and playful interpretation of contemporary products inside.

During the day the multifunctional Bleisure space has 24 seats including the recently launched RBM Noor chair, and plug sockets built into the base of FUWL’s Fun and Functional plug lamp.

‘Gathering for midnight dinners – such elements are what makes it interesting for us as a magazine working with Form Us With Love. It is this social aspect that is so important to their work,’ founder of Disegno magazine Johanna Agerman Ross tells LS:N Global.

The late-night dinners are focused on Scandinavian-inspired Italian cuisine, and served on a long table in the centre of the dome-like installation, providing a setting for discussion and socialising.

LS:N Global will be reporting live from Milan all week. Visit our Seed section for daily updates.
