Cult fiction: Designer unveils fashionable comic

23 : 08 : 2012 Clothes : Faction Marketing : Phillip Lim

International– Fashion designer Phillip Lim has created a one-off comic book, Kill The Night to coincide with the launch of his autumn/winter 2012 collection.

Dubbed ‘the world’s most fashionable comic book’, Kill The Night was co-written by comic book veteran John Ostrander and illustrated by Jan Duursema.

The dark, graphic aesthetic of the comic is a nod to Lim’s collection, which draws inspiration from cult fiction such as Sin City and V for Vendetta.

Kill The Night will be available from 6 September.

This is a great way to use storytelling to promote your brand. To find out more about how brands can use Factional Marketing, come to LS:N Global’s autumn/winter 2012 Trend Briefing.
