Not/stalgia animation: Trend Briefing on film

London – At the start of LS:N Global’s spring Trend Briefing this year, a short animated film was shown to introduce guests to the key statistics, facts and trends to be covered during the day.

The film, created by illustrator and animator Owen Rimington, visually takes people through The Future Family, The New Sublimity and Netsalgia in an early 90s-style computer animation. Lo-fi sound artist Nullsleep wrote an 18-bit original score for the film.

For a detailed look at the shifts that LS:N Global covered in our latest Trend Briefing, see our Macrotrends section.
