Tokyo – A new retail village called Daikanyama T-Site has opened aimed at middle-aged consumers and Baby Boomers.
The development, designed by Tokyo-based Klein Dytham Architecture, features hobby- and lifestyle-related boutiques including a camera store and a bicycle shop.
The retail village is located away from other stores that compete for custom next to the nearby Daikanyama railway station.
This is a great example of a retail space catering for a specific age group. For more on how to maximise your retail experience, read our Tomorrow Store macrotrend.
