London – South Korean graphic designer Jiwon Park has created a social initiative called the ½ Project, which aims to offer people a more personalised approach to charity. Pieces from the project were exhibited at 100% Design as part of the London Design Festival.
The venture features designs that are divided into half. When someone pays for a pizza, or a bottle of water, half goes to a worthy cause. This creates a visual representation of what you give away.
Instead of buy one, get one free, the initiative enables you to buy one, and give one away. This revolutionary thinking sits well against the backdrop of the Anarconomy Decade.
