Faenza, Italy – Design collective Resign Academy has organised a design workshop to introduce students and designers to the collective’s ethos of recontextualising found objects.
Participants in the workshop, to take place in a farmhouse in the Monte Beigua nature reserve in Savona province, will use wood and found objects from the surrounding woodland and countryside to create their work. The students will then be invited to show and sell their work in an exhibition in the land around the farm.
This is an example of people reconnecting with their surroundings through craft. LS:N Global explores the theme in more detail in our Hobbyism micro trend.
