Seattle – Jones Soda, known for putting pictures of consumers on its bottles, is moving on from its organic roots and producing a GABA-enhanced drink for a new generation of Zeno consumers. GABA is a calmant naturally produced in the brain.
Jones previously focused on design and branding aimed at the LATTE consumer – one with Local, Authentic, Traceable, Transparent and Ethical values. As food prices have risen and shopping budgets tighten, organic products have begun to fall out of favour, while the synthetic is seen as a solution to the continued production of cheap food.
