Australia – Clothing retailer Incu has produced an alternative to its lookbook this season, in the form of a short publication exploring a selection of its designers’ personal anecdotes on the subject of food.
Incu stocks a range of international fashion brands and its philosophy reflects a sense of community between its employees, designers and customers.
Illustrating how the brand ‘extends outside the realm of fashion’, the booklet explores five themes, including ‘What’s been cooked in the home’ and ‘When eating outdoors’. Personal quotes from different designers appear alongside still-life photography, featuring Incu products presented in an emotive and tactile fashion.
As explored in our Brandzines micro trend, this original alternative to a lookbook is a great example of brands presenting their content in innovative ways, to engage with consumers through print and editorial output.
