Osaka – Japanese snack foods company Nissin is marking the 48th anniversary of its instant Cup Noodles with a crowdsourced election.
Customers can visit a special site to vote for their favourite discontinued Cup Noodle flavour. When voting closes at the end of June, the three most popular flavours will be revived, complete with their original packaging.
This is a great example of a brand using its heritage to appeal to Revivalist consumers.
