Vancouver – The Glamoury is a beauty salon that harks back to the golden age of Hollywood.

  • The contemporary art deco interior transports customers back to the 1920s
  • Branding by Glasfurd and Walker completes the revivalist look and feel

The interior features brass fittings and a colour palette of soft pastel shades that are complemented by bold prints and antique picture frames. Customers can kick back and relax in one of the salon’s restored leather chairs as they enjoy a high-end makeover or hair styling.

Founded by Canadian country music star AJ Woodworth, The Glamoury’s beauty treatments are aimed at women that work outside of the typical nine-to-five routine. All hair and make-up appointments begin with a brief experience consultation, where clients fill in a card to indicate their preferred level of interaction, from friendly conversation to quiet.
