Global – Camper’s creative director Romain Kremer has re-imagined Mallorca as a colour-soaked bohemian paradise for the footwear brand’s latest campaign.
Since his appointment as creative director in 2014, Kremer has transformed the Camper brand with campaigns as strange and visually arresting as the shoes themselves.
His team’s latest effort marks the launch of Camper’s spring/summer 2016 collection, inspired by the Deià, Es Trenc and fictional Arelluf regions of Mallorca, the Mediterranean island that the brand calls home.
Make-up artist Isamaya Ffrench returned to help create 11 selfie stick-wielding characters that embody the bohemian spirit, serene wilderness and debauched madness that are associated with the island.
Brands that want to strike a chord with young members of Generation Z must learn to think in a visual-first language. Find out more about Gen Viz and their digital-first mindset at Backlash Culture, our Spring/Summer 2016 Trend Briefing.
