New York – A new collection from Print All Over Me enables users to generate unique garments using their keyboard.

  • Taking customisation to the next level, the digital printing platform handed the design power to the consumer
  • The generated prints give artists and programmers a new way to design

Digital printing platform Print All Over Me, which is well known for the mass-customisation of garments, has collaborated with Processing Foundation, a non-profit-making organisation that aims to empower people to learn how to program, to create a fashion line that lets users dynamically generate designs based on their input.

By tapping keys on the keyboard or clicking the mouse, users create a unique algorithmic pattern, which can be printed on garments such as a bomber jacket, dress or scarf.

The Big Picture

In an intersection of art, interaction and information, Print All Over Me taps into the idea of sensory transduction. To find out more, read our macrotrend The Convergence Economy.
