29 : 09 : 2015 The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home : Lost My Name : Personalisation

London – The team behind the best-selling children’s book Lost My Name is taking personalisation to new heights with its second publication.

  • The latest book uses GPS technology to personalise the story to each child
  • The book will be read on board the International Space Station as part of the Story Time From Space project

After the success of its first book, self-styled ‘full-stack’ publishing house Lost My Name is setting its sights on the stars with The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home.

The story follows a child’s adventure from the depths of outer space to their front door. Generative artwork paints a picture of space unique to each book and satellite imaging weaves elements of the reader’s life into the narrative using nothing more than their name and address.

Speaking to LS:N Global, Lost My Name co-founder Asi Sharabi explains how the sky’s the limit when it comes to making personalisation more meaningful.

‘We really like the idea that there is tonnes of technology behind what we’re doing, but at the point of consumption, it’s still a very quiet bonding moment between parent and child,’ he says.
