Paris – South Korean cuisine has undergone a glamorous makeover thanks to new restaurant Hero.
Working in collaboration with New York agency Safari Sundays, restauranteur Quixotic Projects has created Hero, a street food and champagne restaurant in Paris’s popular rue Saint-Denis.
The interior combines traditional elements of hand-crafted Korean design with a contemporary spin on neon artworks, and a rough and ready concrete motif. The space also features Superhero, a chef’s counter at its centre reserved for one-off events, which lends an element of showmanship to match its high-end drinks.
