Tokyo – The new retail space for Belgian chocolatier Godiva is just dripping with the sweet confection.
Designed by Wonderwall, the new chocolate shop in Tokyo’s Harajuku district has an interior full of giant dark drips, melting from the ceiling and down the walls, placing the customer in a delightfully indulgent, almost cartoon-like experience.
Fantastical spaces, as we report in our Dreamtelligence trend, are using fantasy, play and whimsical imagery to give a refreshing approach to the currently serious consumer atmosphere. A little play goes a long way.
