Norfolk, UK – Belgian artist collective Time Circus has created an experience-based temporary hotel called AirHotel on the grounds of Norfolk estate Holt Hall. The hotel comprises nine dream-like rooms built among the trees.
The ecological Wellness Machine room houses the customary hotel luxuries of a sauna and bar, while the AirHotel experience also includes circus performances and singing hostesses to appeal to all the senses.
‘We take the audience into the art and performances with all their senses, to give them a peek into our universe and temporary way of everyday life,’ says a Time Circus spokesperson.
AirHotel’s focus on providing non-digital activities reflects consumers’ desire to disconnect from modern life, as noted in our New Sublimity Tourism microtrend, and demonstrates the increasing demand for experience-based travel.
