Milan – Fashion designer Vivienne Westwood’s menswear show for next winter pays homage to the recent BBC TV series Frozen Planet in a bid to raise awareness about climate change.
The models for the menswear collection have slicked-back hair, moustaches and facial hair covered with frost and icicles.
‘Our collection is in support of David Attenborough’s documentary series Frozen Planet, which will go to America, but unfortunately without the final episode in which he explains that we humans are responsible for the ice melting,’ says Westwood.
